The City of Springfield owns and operates two cemeteries:
The cemeteries are accessible to visitors seven days a week during daylight hours. They are staffed by two full-time employees responsible for maintaining the grounds and records at both cemeteries, including:
- Clean-up
- Customer service
- Landscaping
- Leveling graves
- Maintenance of equipment
- Mowing
- Opening and closing graves
- Repair
