Garner Street Park Improvements
Prior additions to Garner Street Park include a skate park and Central Bark Dog Park. The Parks and Recreation Department is currently in the process of improving the playground, restroom, and shelter, and adding two (2) pickleball courts at this park as well.

The Parks and Recreation Department is currently in the process of improving the playground, restroom, and shelter. The new playground installation has been put out for bid. A selected bid will go before the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Funding Source: $500,000 matching Local Parks and Recreation Fund grant awarded by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and $500,000 from the Springfield Parks and Recreation Fund.
