processed-CCA4C1CE-8339-4CB2-A2B3-5C059F316C61

Forty native trees have been planted in J. Travis Price Park along Blackwood and Wilkes roads, beautifying the entrance to the park and bringing colorful foliage each spring and fall. Species include Flowering Dogwood, Eastern Redbud and Maple.

The city of Springfield is grateful to Owens Corning, an American insulation company with facilities in the city, and the Tennessee Environmental Council for making the project possible.
