City of Springfield offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, due to inclement weather conditions. All city parks will also be closed until further notice.
Sanitation collection routes will be modified this week. Monday’s sanitation route will be collected on Wednesday, January 28. Tuesday’s route will be collected on Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31.
Residents should place carts at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on their modified collection day and leave them out until their route has been serviced. Tuesday route customers should have carts out by 5:30 a.m. on Friday and leave them out until collected.
Travel should be avoided unless absolutely necessary. Residents are encouraged to remain at home and stay off roadways whenever possible to allow emergency and public works crews to operate safely and efficiently.
